FARMING
The purpose of Mas la Sala Cooperative is to participate in the systemic abundance of the environment in which it develops. In this sense, the agroecological system is one of the core areas where the passion, professionalism and regenerative potential of living ecosystems will be reflected in the pastures,
food gardens and forests of which we are part, following natural cycles and rhythm.
To achieve this purpose, the Cooperative is working on the transition from a conventional
to a regenerative agricultural system, thus enriching the agroecological transition of our environment.
Specifically, we manage a food garden, a livestock operation with sheep, cows, pigs, bees and poultry, and the farm’s natural woodland.
WHAT DO WE DO
The purpose of Mas la Sala Cooperative is to participate in the systemic abundance of the environment in which it develops.
Our project is based on the principles of the cooperative movement, resilience, democratic management, equity, solidarity, and responsibility.
We are devoted to agriculture and livestock, the management of the farm’s natural woodland, enviornmental education, rural tourism, restauration, intercooperation, fine arts and culture.
Along these lines, the services we offer to the public are the products we sell in the markets, the rental of the rural tourism apartment, meals made with products from our garden and the region for those staying at Mas La Sala , environmental education activities and the bookstore La Lluerna, which will open soon and that you will find in the center of Ripoll.
